A former Halifax regional school board member will go to trial on Jan. 12 on charges of defrauding more than a dozen people and businesses of about $470,000.
Peggy Draper, 59, who is also a former Town of Bedford councillor and real estate agent, faces 19 counts of fraud, forgery and theft.
All the offences are alleged to have taken place between March 1, 2003, and April 30, 2006.
