Last weekend's grand opening of a trail link officially joined Bedford and Sackville for the first time in over 40 years. The multi-use Bedford-Sackville Greenway Connector Trail is travelled by more than 1,400 people each week. The recently constructed 500-metre section connects the existing Sackville River Trail between the Bedford Superstore and at the Walkway Bridge over the Sackville River (located beside the Bedford Place Mall's True North Restaurant).
