A work party of Sackville Kinsmen revisited a community commitment on Saturday, May 28 at 9 a.m.
This year's Adopt a Highway chairman and Sackville Kinsmen Brian Green got the troops ready and on the road doing a litter pick up on Glendale Drive.
The Kinsmen worked all day long to clean up the litter and other "significant" debris (shopping carts , bicycles, office chairs, car parts) en route to cleaning up Glendale Drive for the community. Excellent job gents.
Thanks to Kinsmen Brian Green, Andy Hoar, Glen Minty, Dwayne Keel, Steve Wilson, Greg Flemming, Leo Melanson, Ernie Hunt, Dave Eagles, Hugh Yorke and Alan MacKinnon. Thanks also to Ben Bishop (who is attending meetings to become a new Kinsmen) for coming out as well. Way to go Ben!
After the clean up it was time for the Kinsmen to enjoy a barbecue at the Kinsmen Community Centre.
