Police Briefs - At 9:40 p.m. on Aug. 6, a white male carrying a steak knife entered the Ritestop Convenience Store on Highfield Park Drive and demanded money. The cashier gave the man an amount of cash after which he fled the store. The man is described as, 5'8", 160 lbs, early 20s, medium build, wearing a red zip-up hoodie, grey track pants with two white stripes, a black and white bandanna over his face, and white ladies gloves with pink and blue. The steak knife had a black plastic handle.
