Police Briefs - At 11:15 p.m. on Aug. 6, a male walking along a path in the Canal Street area in Dartmouth was approached by two males. One of the males punched the victim and knocked him to the ground. The men fled with cash and some of the victim's personal items. The victim was treated in hospital for non-life-threatening injuries. The attackers were described as, a dark-skinned black male with a stocky build, in his early 20s, wearing a blue shirt and cutoff jeans, and a white male in his 20s.
