Bank machine robbery

At 4:12 p.m. on Sunday, a woman who had just left a banking machine at 118 Wyse Road was approached by two suspects who attempted to take her purse. A struggle ensued and the suspects left empty handed, running towards the McDonald's restaurant. The victim was holding the hand of her nine-year-old child during this event. No one was injured during the incident. The suspects were described as black males, 18 to 20 years old, dressed all in black with the exception of bright green and brown camouflage gloves which went to the elbows worn by one of the suspects. The matter remains under investigation.
