Property damage in Dartmouth

Property Damage/Weapons - Police were called to the Sobeys on Portland Street in Dartmouth just before 7 p.m. last night after witnesses observed three youths slashing tires in the parking lot. Further investigation revealed that eight vehicles in total had sustained damage (slashed tires). The suspects, two females, 14 and 16-years-old and a 14-year-old male, were arrested at 8 p.m. in the immediate area. All three face eight counts of mischief. In addition, the 14-year-old female has been charged with breach of an undertaking, possession of a weapon and carrying a concealed weapon. The 14-year-old male also faces charges of possession of a weapon and carrying a concealed weapon. They will appear in youth court this week.
