To the editor;
Are we human beings destined to never learn from past mistakes or disasters? How many remember Hurricane Juan, White Juan or the severe ice storms in Nova Scotia and Quebec? How long did you go without electricity due to damaged transmission towers and downed lines? What is wrong with the executives of Nova Scotia Power still wanting to build these towers through residential areas of Westphal, Cole Harbour and Eastern Passage or anywhere else for that matter? Aren't they telling you to buy your own generator for when the next storm leaves you without power? Nova Scotia Power, BURY these transmission lines so they won't be affected by weather conditions.
