Hi everyone - I'm Fiona and I'm two years old. I'm told the name Fiona comes from the Gaelic and means ‘fair'. And a fair lass I am indeed! I have a pristine white coat and large stunning canary yellow eyes.
I've had some challenging times in my past. Shortly after I had four kittens, I was abandoned by my owners. A kindly neighbor brought me and my babies to the NS SPCA Provincial Animal Shelter where the whole family was given a chance at a fresh start. My little ones have been adopted and now I'd like to find a loving home of my own.
I'm still adjusting to shelter life and am quite shy. I need to be approached slowly and gently, but once I know I can trust you, I enjoy being tenderly held. I'm known to bestow kitty kisses when I'm feeling comfortable. I'd prefer a quieter home - adult-only or with older children who understand that adding a new feline family member takes time and patience so I can feel secure. I know that I'll thrive in a calm peaceful environment.
If you have room in your heart and home for me, please come and meet me today.
Fiona has been spayed, vaccinated, de-wormed, flea treated and examined by a veterinarian.
