Hi everybody. I’m Mango, a beautiful four-year old girl. I’m a Rhodesian Ridgeback mix with a gorgeous burnt sienna coat and thoughtful dark eyes. Although I always try to have a big smile, the first four years of my life weren’t easy. I was brought to the safety of the NS SPCA Provincial Animal Shelter when my owners abandoned me.
I’m very friendly, gentle and affectionate with everyone I meet and love getting attention in return. I like to lean against you for a cuddle or lie peacefully at your feet. I dream of participating in family activities – I have lots of energy and love to run.
I’d do best as the only pet in your home, since chasing cats and small animals is in my genes. I’d appreciate a dog-experienced family with teens and up where someone can be home with me most of the time until I feel secure. I’m very smart and look forward to obedience training so I can make you proud of me. I find shelter life a bit stressful and hope to find my ‘forever’ home soon.

Mango has been spayed, vaccinated, de-wormed, flea treated and examined by a veterinarian.
