Hi everybody – I’m Jesse, a big handsome five-year-old boy. I’m a Shepherd mix with a sunny disposition and a winning smile.
I’m friendly and affectionate with people. I have the temperament of a puppy even though I’m five. I love to play with toys – I never had any to call my own before coming to the shelter, so now I take one with me wherever I go. Fetch is a favourite game – I dream of getting to play with someone that loves me. I adore going for walks and am well-behaved on-leash. I must confess that sometimes when I become excited, my puppy spirit takes over and I jump up.
I know some basic commands and obedience training is optional for me. Because I’m a big strong boy, I’d fit best in a home with kids 8 and up. I can be dominant toward other male dogs, so I’d do best with a female pal or a male buddy who’ll let me be boss.
I came from Cape Breton and have been waiting patiently to find a ‘forever’ home. If you’re looking for a loyal loving companion who is sure to bring joy to your life, I’m your man!
Jesse has been neutered, vaccinated, de-wormed, flea treated and examined by a veterinarian.
