Hi everybody – I’m Reety and I’m three years old. I have an ebony coat with a splash of white at my throat. My fur is velvety soft and clean. My eyes are an inviting gold shade. I have an almost kitten-sized frame despite the fact that I’m full grown.
Just before New Year’s Eve, I was rescued from a hoarding situation along with eight other cats. I’m adjusting to life in the shelter. Understandably, I’m not exactly sure of my surroundings yet and am getting used to things at my own pace. For now, I hang out at the back of my kennel, since it makes me feel safer and more secure. I may first appear indifferent, but I’m just cautious when meeting new people. If you speak to me in soft encouraging tones, you’ll pique my interest and hear me purr – an encouraging sign of progress.
The perfect adopter for me is someone with extra patience, so I can build my confidence and trust to blossom into my full potential. I’ll thrive in a quiet home where I’m treated with love, respect and compassion.
Reety has been spayed, vaccinated, de-wormed, flea treated and examined by a veterinarian.
