My name is Gail Quigley and like you, I find that costs have gotten out of hand in the last few years. 3 Years ago when our son Shawn and his wife Lisa had their first child (our Prince Liam) they found the cost of diaper’s out of this world! The P & G Brand saver Coupon flyer booklet happened to be out that weekend and had Pamper coupon’s in it!! The journey began again to save using coupons and sales. We now save over 350.00 a month using coupons!
I am a mom of 3, a military wife and a retired Bank Manager (my husband tells me that this accounts for my penny pinching. The banker in me! LOL) I hope with this blog to share tip’s & tricks of using Coupons! Where to find them, how to order them, how to organize them and how/when to use them to get the best deals, Reward Programs & Night out/meal savings and of course those wonderful FREEBIES!
We will talk about internet sites like Face book which is full of freebie’s and promotion’s from major companies like Olay, Maple Leaf, Cadbury Chocolates to name just a few who offer coupons for FREE product ! Yes, I said FREE.
We will also talk about the store’s, price matching, “Coupon Friendly” stores, product limit’s, wording of the coupon’s, and how you can help the Cashier’s understanding of the coupon wording.
You will find some of the best deals of the week posted HERE. During the week if I hear about or see an INSTORE special I will update the blog immediately so that you can take advantage of the sale AND use your coupon to really make a difference.
During the past few weeks we have been able to get VH Plum, Sweet & Sour Sauce, Garlic Rib Sauces for .25 cents (normally over $3.00), FREE Facial scrubs from Olay, FREE Dr. Oetker Mug Cakes, FREE Glade Candles and Boxes of Catelli Noodles for .13 cents using coupon’s combined with sales!
So let’s get started this week with some of the site’s that you can register with (free of charge) and the coupon’s mailed to your home. Remember most sites allow only one account per address. If you have relatives or friends that don’t coupon, ask if you can have coupon’s mailed to them at their address for you. You need multiples of the coupons for the products that your family purchases to make an impact on your budget.

1) The Thinsation Coupon’s are PRINTABLE ones from Face book! “Like” Thinsation’s Canada on your Face book and print 2 coupons’ per computer (1.50 coupon).
2) The Smart Source Coupon Insert in your Home Delivery Chronicle Herald or your flyer package this weekend include a coupon for a FREE Ginger ale 2 L Bottle of Pop plus other good coupon’s to hold onto until the right sale. Great to have 4-5 of these Coupon Inserts from family/friend’s who don’t use them and would throw them away.
3) You don’t have to run from store to store for the sale’s, using up time and expensive gas, Wal-Mart, Zeller’s, Giant Tiger & No Frill’s all PRICEMATCH other stores!!! Just bring your flyer’s to show them and tell the cashier you want to price match……..easy
