So many deals this week, so little time lol ! But we will get to the top one’s later on in the blog. I do recommend you sign into smartcanucks.ca and each week look under the DEAL subheading where all the deals for all the stores are listed that have coupon’s out. Beside the deal you will see where you can/could have found the coupon. For example Brandsaver, tearpad, printable, websaver etc. So if you don’t like to go through your flyers ( like I do), you can go there each Friday, find our stores and click to see what is available under the current week.
This week 2 new stores are opening in Dartmouth. The new Big Shopper’s Drug Mart at 660 Portland Street and the new XS Cargo at 375 Pleasant Street! Some really great deals worth checking out this weekend!
Also Shoppers Drug Mart has made some great changes to their Optimum Program ( points ). In the past when their 20X points day’s came on and let’s say the limit you needed to spend to get 20 x the points was 50.00, it meant AFTER coupon’s were taken off. Now it is BEFORE coupons !! Fabulous change. I usually shop on the 20 x the point’s days, but only buy what our family needs/uses. To meet the spending limit I often bought multiples of what we use. Now I will be able to use the full price coupon’s I have. Last year I had 250.00 worth of free product that I purchased at Christmas time with just my points on their special bonus redemption day. Again, only buying what our family needs and uses.
This change with Shopper’s is very exciting! Their new policy ( both on the internet and on the Smart Canucks.ca site under FORUM ) clearly states that now all stores will accept printed internet coupon’s ( no photocopies allowed though ) Definitely worth the read here for us couponaholics!
For the first time I had problems with Giant Tiger and their reading/understanding of the coupon phrase “one coupon per purchase”. This means, only one coupon per item. Each item is a purchase, your entire order is a transaction! Knowing this and being able to explain it really helps. I was allowed to purchase my 6 items with my coupons after a discussion with the Manager. Many thanks to Giant Tiger!
