Gail's Coupon Corner

Have you ever been in the grocery store checkout line and had an item ring in at the wrong price?

Did you know that many stores participate in a Voluntary Scanning practice code, called SCOP (look for the sign in your local store). Basically, if they scan your product in for the wrong price that you could receive the item free up to a value of 10.00

I have found that I have been able to receive many free items this way; you have to watch and know what the cost of your item should be scanning in at though. I usually let it ring all the way through and then tell them.  I found at one time that if I corrected some of the cashier’s when I say the wrong price then they said, no they corrected it and therefore didn’t get the item free. Now I wait until it has completed my transaction.

There are some great deals coming up this week!  Stay tuned for the deals friday!
