Are you a Senior or a Student? Do you know that there are a huge amount of discounts out there for you! Stores such as Superstore and Sobey’s actually have discounts of 10% for Students on Tuesday’s ! I checked with them today and found this out, nothing for Seniors at these stores (yet)!
Shopper’s Drug Mart and Lawton’s offer Seniors a 20% on their Senior’s day’s. They advertise them in their flyer’s. Lawton’s monthly ( next one is Oct 29th ) and Shopper’s monthly but also at time’s more often than that!
Shoppers drug mart offer’s the discounts on non sale items while Lawton’s allows the discount on some sale items as well as non sale items.
There are discounts on Airfare, bus tickets, Bank accounts, Movie shows to name just a few.
Students have the SPC ( Students Price Cards ), cost is $10.00 but many many retailers offer students good discounts when they present this card ( and student ID ). This is a card worth having if you are a student.
The main point here is to ASK your retailer’s if they offer Senior’s or Students discounts! A simple, do you offer discounts to Senior’s is all you have to say to them!
