Halloween is just around the corner and many of the deals are starting to come out. How do you know what the best prices are for the treats? Start this week and look at the prices around town ( flyer’s ). Take the various size bags ie 36 chocolate bars for this price or 96 for that price, simply find out what the cost is per bar/bag of chips. That way you know what store is having the best deal. I don’t travel all over town going to the different stores, I pricematch and stick to one or 2 stores. Use your flyer’s for pricematching and save yourself time and gas. Gas is just to expensive these days.
Zeller’s this week has children’s costume’s on for 6.00, not a bad price! Last Halloween I picked up a few costume’s for a tickle box for our grandson and he has many costume’s now to choose from this year and we got them for under 2.00 a costume, so think about that for after Halloween this year and plan for next year.
After Halloween the treats are usually on clearance as well…great for stocking stuffer’s? or birthday grab bag treats, or even a special treat in a lunch.
Next week we should see some better deals as well I am hoping for Halloween treats, as this week they still seem a little high…the mini chocolate bars were an average price of .14 cents each, a little high for me to pay lol.

Shopper's Drug Mart opened in our Cole Harbour area last week and we had some extra egg coupon's so we handed them out in the store! People were able to get a dozen eggs for .99 with the sale and using the coupon!!
