Tailgates taken from Cow Bay/Eastern Passage pickup trucks

Members of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP), Halifax District are investigating the theft of tailgates from pickup trucks overnight Tuesday or early Wednesday morning.

Members of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP), Halifax District are investigating the theft of tailgates from pickup trucks overnight Tuesday or early Wednesday morning.

Six thefts occurred in the Cow Bay/Eastern Passage area where the suspects removed tailgates from pickup trucks. The tailgates were from a 2009 Blue Ford F150( Silver Crt), 2008 Grey Ford Ranger(Autumn Dr), 2006 Brown Nissan Frontier(Dyke Rd), Red Mazda B Series(Cow Bay Rd), 2010 Silver Sierra(Dyke Rd) and a 2004 Red Ford F150 (Autumn Dr).

If you have information regarding these of thefts of tailgates, you can contact any RCMP office, Halifax Regional Police, or Crime Stoppers anonymously anytime at 1-800-222-TIPS(8477) or by their Secure Web Tips at www.crimestoppers.ns.ca Calls to Crime Stoppers are not taped or traced and if police make an arrest and lay charges based on a tip, callers qualify for a cash award from $50 - $2000.
