Garbage, organics and recyclables collection POSTPONED due to impending storm

Halifax Regional Municipality wishes to advise residents that due to the impending arrival of Hurricane Earl, the Labour Day garbage, organics and green cart curbside collection services that had been scheduled to occur this Saturday, September 4th will be postponed and will take place the following Saturday, September 11th.

Again, for residents whose curbside solid waste collection had been scheduled for this Saturday, September 4th, due to anticipated high winds and heavy rain, your collection services have been re-scheduled and will occur the following Saturday, September 11th.
