All major HRM wooded parks: Point Pleasant, Shubie Park, The Dingle, Public Gardens, and Hemlock Ravine, are now open after the post-Earl clean-up.

And it’s business as usual at all ball diamonds and sports fields,

though residents are reminded to check daily field conditions at

http://www.halifax.ca/rec/field_conditions.asp . Additional questions and/or updates on ball diamonds and sports fields can be directed to the Scheduling Office at 490-7100.

HRM crews are currently removing fallen tree limbs from playgrounds and community parks as a priority and will then direct their resources to clearing green spaces and trails.

Municipal Operations staff are asking residents to assist them by

reporting any noticed damage to HRM Infrastructure at  490-4000.

Municipal Operations and Solid Waste are currently also working towards clearing away storm debris from around the rest of HRM - including residential neighbourhoods. Visit www.halifax.ca for more specific information on that clean-up.
