Beginning Tuesday, Sept. 4, until Tuesday, Nov. 27, 2012, seniors aged 65 years and older will be able to travel for free every Tuesday on Metro Transit bus and ferry services (excluding MetroLink and MetroX premium services) as part of a three month pilot project.

Seniors will be able to travel for free on Tuesdays from 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., and then again after 6 p.m.

Seniors who qualify for free travel should carry proper photo identification, as the operator may ask for proof of age.
