Homeowners in the Boutiliers Point area are being warned of a rash of recent break and enters.

Police are investigating several recent incidents of break and enter in Boutiliers Point.

On Aug. 30, police responded to an alarm call on Island View Drive. When they arrived a short time later, the home had already been entered and the suspects had fled the scene.

On Aug. 28, police were called to investigate a break and enter which occurred on Hillside Drive. On Aug. 25, homeowners reported their house on Island View Drive had been broken into. Cash and electronics were taken.

All of these incidents are still under investigation.

Police want people in the Boutiliers Point area to be aware that several homes have recently been broken into.

They are asking the public to watch for suspicious vehicles or behavior, and to report anything out of the ordinary to Halifax District RCMP at (902) 244-7208 or Crimestoppers at 1-800-222 TIPS (8477).
