Heavy equipment auction set for Sept. 8 in Fall River

The annual auction of used government heavy equipment will take place Saturday, Sept. 8 in Fall River.

The auction gets underway at 10 a.m. at the Transportation and Infrastructure Renewal Miller Lake yard, 107 Perrin Dr.

More than 100 backhoes, snowplows, dump trucks, and other pieces of heavy equipment will be available. All items have been well used and the auctioneer will clearly state the condition of the equipment before the bids are taken.

Items can be viewed the day of the auction from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. A link to photos of equipment will be posted prior to the auction on the Transportation and Infrastructure Renewal website at www.gov.ns.ca/tran/hottopics/auction.asp .

The auction will be held rain or shine and will be conducted by Auction Advantage. Payment must be made by cash, debit, or cheque, with bank letter.
