A man faces charges in connection with multiple incidents over the last nine months in Halifax.
On Nov. 14, 2011 a residential break and enter occurred on Abbey Road. The following night there was a robbery in the 100 block of Herring Cove Road. On Aug. 18 there was a break and enter into a business on St. Margaret’s Bay Road. Two men were arrested at the scene, charged and scheduled to appear in court later this month. On Aug. 23, one of the two men from the Aug. 18 incident was arrested in connection to the break and enter on Nov. 14, 2011. He was scheduled to appear in court on Aug. 24.
On Aug. 29 at 10:29 p.m., police responded to a residential break and enter in the 100 block of Ridge Valley Road. On Aug. 30 at approximately 7:21 p.m. officers arrested one of the two men from the Aug. 18 break and enter in connection with this incident.
Investigators were able to link that man to the two incidents in 2011 and charge him accordingly.
Michael Keltie Baldwin, 21, of Halifax faces charges of robbery, wearing a disguise, three counts of break and enter and multiple counts of breaching his probation. He was scheduled to appear in court on Aug. 31 to answer to the charges for the most recent break and enter and the robbery from 2011.
