At 9:36 p.m. last night, Sept. 23, a robbery was reported in the 1600 block of Chestnut Street in Halifax. A 25-year-old male was walking when he was approached by another male who demanded everything he had. The suspect had a knife.  The victim fled to a doorstep of a nearby house and did not hand anything over to the suspect who's described as a white male, 20 to 25 years old, slim, five-foot-eleven with reddish hair wearing a red hoodie, and a dark-colored scarf covering his face.
