Cigarettes, cash stolen during Cole Harbour break in

RCMP are investigating a break and enter into a business in Cole Harbour.

Yesterday morning, Oct. 23, at approximately 7:41 a.m., RCMP were called to the Traditional Trading Post, located on Caldwell Road.  Suspects had broken into the business and stole a large quantity of cigarettes and cash.  The Forensic Identification Section was brought in to assist the investigators.

The matter is still under investigation.

RCMP are asking anyone with information about this robbery or any other incident to come forward. People can contact any RCMP office or Nova Scotia Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477), texting TIP202 + your message to 'CRIMES' (274637) or by Secure Web Tips at www.crimestoppers.ns.ca. Calls to Crime Stoppers are not taped or traced and if police make an arrest and lay charges based on a tip, callers qualify for a cash reward from $50 - $2000.
