Highway 102 crash victim died of his injuries

RCMP are confirming the 24-year-old man involved in a crash 10 days ago on Hwy 102 passed away on Dec. 21 in hospital as a result of injuries sustained in the crash.

On Dec. 14, RCMP responded to a motor vehicle collision involving a tractor trailer and a car. The car ended up underneath the larger vehicle in the inbound lane between the Larry Uteck Boulevard and Hammonds Plains exits.

The cause of the motor vehicle collision is still under investigation.

At the request of the family the name is not being released.
