On Jan. 2 at approximately 2:30 a.m. police responded to a break and enter call at the Platinum Pawn Shop, 141 Main St., in Dartmouth. It appeared that a vehicle was used to smash in the front entrance. The party(s) responsible for this act fled prior to police arrival. A short time after the break occurred police located the vehicle, it was determined that it had been stolen from Sackville. It has not yet been determined what (if anything) was stolen during this break and enter. The matter remains under police investigation.
