Emera Oval will be temporarily closed to public skates tomorrow for required painting

The Emera Oval will be closed to public skates for most of the day tomorrow, Thursday, Jan. 3, while crews complete required painting. Lines will be painted for speedskating events scheduled to take place this weekend and for future speedskating events.

The work will start at 6 a.m. and is expected to be completed in time to open for the 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. public skates. In the case of any unforeseen circumstances arising during this work tomorrow, skaters are asked to please visit skatehrm.ca or call the Emera Oval hotline at 490-2347 to check the public skate schedule updates.
