Police are seeking the public’s help in locating a missing Halifax youth.
Hayden Mitchell, 15, was last seen on Jan. 11 leaving his Spencer Avenue residence around 8 a.m., but never arrived at school. He has since failed to return to his residence but contacted a friend on Jan. 12 via social media. Hayden is described as a white male, five-foot-three, 90 lbs., slim build, with short blond hair and blue eyes. He was last seen wearing a red and black jacket, black jeans, black boots, and carrying a black backpack.
There is no evidence to suggest that Hayden has met with foul play but there is concern for his well-being. Officers request that Hayden or anyone with information on his whereabouts calls police at 490-5016.
