Teen struck in Bell Road crosswalk

Halifax Regional Police is investigating a car/pedestrian collision in Halifax this morning, Jan. 24.

 

At 9 a.m., police responded to a car/pedestrian collision at 1690 Bell Rd. A 16-year-old male pedestrian crossing Bell Road in a marked crosswalk was hit by a vehicle travelling eastbound on Bell Road. He suffered minor injuries and was transported to hospital by EHS. A 50-year-old male driver was charged with failing to yield to a pedestrian in a crosswalk.
