Dartmouth man facing drug, weapon charges

A man faces charges after a drug search last night, Jan. 29, in Dartmouth

At 8 p.m. officers conducted a search of an apartment in the 0-100 block of Queen Street. Officers seized a quantity of crack cocaine, ecstasy and cash. A loaded shotgun was also recovered from the residence. Forty-three-year-old Ervin Russell Crowell was arrested at the scene without incident. He is facing charges of possession of drugs for the purpose of trafficking and possession of drugs as well as numerous weapon charges and breaches of court orders. He was held overnight and will appear in Dartmouth Provincial Court today.
