Halifax Water crews are on site repairing a 16 inch water main break on Pleasant Street in front of the Shearwater Air Base in the Eastern Passage area.
It is expected the work will be completed sometime this evening.
Crews are rerouting water flows to maintain water service in Eastern Passage. Some customers may experience low water pressure during this repair work.
One lane, two-way traffic will be maintained around the work zone. If possible, motorists are asked to find alternate routes. Drivers proceeding through the work zone are asked to proceed with caution. Motorists are also reminded that speed fines double in work zones.
