The Woodside ferry will resume regular service this afternoon, Feb. 12, following a complete building inspection of the terminal  to ensure it is safe for passenger operations. The first afternoon trips depart Woodside at 2:52 p.m. and Halifax at 3:07 p.m.

Passengers are advised that the building elevator will not be in operation until further notice due to water damage to electrical components required for its operation. Work to repair the elevator is ongoing and passengers will be advised when it is operational.

In the interim, a shuttle will be provided for mobility-impaired passengers between the parking lot and the lower, accessible entrance to the terminal during Woodside ferry service hours.
