Police looking for AWOL parolee

Police are asking for the public’s help in locating a man with an outstanding warrant.

Michael David Patterson, 29, was paroled from prison late last year. On Feb. 11, a Canada Wide Parole Warrant was issued for his arrest after he walked away from a halfway house in Halifax.

Investigators have attempted to locate him without success. It is believed that Patterson is still in Nova Scotia, although he has ties to Ontario. He is described as a white man, six-foot-four, 230 lbs., with brown hair and green eyes and wears glasses.

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Michael David Patterson is asked to contact Halifax Regional Police at 490-5020 or their local police department.
