Halifax man facing child porn charges

A man faces charges after a search yesterday, Feb. 13, in Halifax by the HRP/RCMP Integrated Internet Child Exploitation (ICE) Unit.

At approximately 11:30 a.m., ICE investigators conducted a search of an apartment in the 2100 block of Harvard Street. Officers arrested a suspect without incident and seized a computer.

Alexander (Sasha) Karl Leiter, 28, is scheduled to appear in Halifax Provincial Court today, Feb. 14, to face one count of possession of child pornography and one count of breaching a recognizance.
