Thieves ransack, steal liquor from Lakeside legion

RCMP are requesting the public's assistance in a break and enter in Lakeside.

This morning, Feb. 15, at 1:27 a.m., as a result of a commercial alarm, RCMP responded to the Royal Canadian Legion on Greenhead Road. The rear door had been pried open and suspects entered the building. Inside, the suspects ransacked the place throwing items on the floor. Numerous cases of beer and bottles of liquor were stolen.

Calls to Crime Stoppers are not taped or traced and if police make an arrest and lay charges based on a tip, callers qualify for a cash award from $50 - $2,000.
