Halifax Regional Police say they have arrested a man after receiving reports of someone waving a gun from a vehicle driving in Fairview on Wednesday morning, and then later inside a nearby apartment building.
Spokesman Const. Pierre Bourdages says the van was driving down Evans Avenue around 8:40 a.m. with someone waving the gun outside the window.
As police were trying to locate the vehicle, they received another report someone waving a gun inside an apartment building on Dawn Street.
When officers arrived at the apartment, a man was arrested and a pellet gun was seized.
Bourdages said they believe the man is responsible for both gun-waving incidents and charges are expected.
