Police have issued a new Wanted List in an attempt to catch people with outstanding arrest warrants.

The last list consisted of 10 people, three of whom were arrested. The new list is available at www.halifax.ca/police/HeatList. A release will be issued and the Internet will be updated when a person on the list is arrested.

The HRP/RCMP Integrated High-Risk Enforcement Action Team (HEAT) is responsible for executing warrants within HRM as well as other areas and facilitates requests from Parole and Probation Services. Every few months, the team creates a new Wanted List made up of people with outstanding arrest warrants whom police have been unable to locate. Whether the people turn themselves in or we receive information on their whereabouts from the public, the goal is to locate and arrest each person on the list.

HRM Partners in Policing is reminding citizens not to approach these individuals or try to take matters into their own hands. Anyone with information regarding the people on this list is asked to contact police at (902) 490-5016 (Halifax Regional Police) or (902) 244-7208 (Halifax District RCMP), or online at https://www.halifax.ca/police/NonDispatch. Anonymous tips can be sent to Crime Stoppers by calling toll-free 1-800-222-TIPS (8477), submitting a secure web tip at www.crimestoppers.ns.ca or texting a tip - Tip 202 + your message to 274637.
