Slain officer's memory preserved on memorial plaque

RCMP members and other representatives from other policing agencies marched to the Shaunavon Detachment during the Aug. 11 memorial for Cpl. Ole Larsen.
Staff Sgt. Dean Bridle and Assistant Commissioner Russ Mirasty unveiled the memorial plaque in honour of Cpl. Ole Roust Larsen who lost his life on police duty in Climax on August 11, 1981.
A memorial plaque was unveiled in memory of Cpl. Ole Roust Larsen on the 30th anniversary of his death while on duty.
Cpl. Ole Roust Larsen was 36 when he was shot and killed while on duty in Climax on August 11, 1981.
