THE TEAM: Dartmouth Whalers Pee Wee AA Girls

THE BUZZ: The team won gold in Moncton! The Dartmouth Whalers Pee Wee AA girls compiled a perfect 5 wins and 0 loss record en-route to winning a gold medal in the 8th annual DQ Tournament held Jan. 4th-6th in Moncton. This regional team is made up of girls from minor hockey associations in Dartmouth, ColeHarbour and East Hants.

THE ROSTER: From left: Sophie Fraser, Julia Murphy, Sarah Smith, Ryleigh Burns, Allison Carter, Chris O'Brien (asst. coach), Kara MacPhee, Shaye Tilley, Laura Warnell, Lynn Fraser, Jason Hill (head coach), Tiffany Hill, Blair Lacroix, Leah O'Brien, Macy Conrad, Gerry Lacroix (asst. coach). Goalies: Deanna Fraser and Carly Ronahan
