Public input invited into year-round Oval

HRM citizens are invited to attend a public consultation event this week as part of the ongoing process to establish the Emera Oval as a year round facility on the north Halifax Common.

The event takes place Wednesday, Feb. 13, 7 to 9 p.m. at the Atlantica Hotel, 1980 Robie St. in Halifax.

HRM and DSRA Architecture will host a hands-on workshop aimed at generating ideas for the character and use of a permanent building onsite. Participants will learn about similar civic projects and work in groups to explore how best to use and organize this public space. The evening will conclude with a summary discussion addressing common interests and themes.
