According to news feeds, Nova Scotia Power is looking for another price hike witin the next two years, They state that because of the two pulp mills are not using enough power we the pulic sector are going to have to make up the difference. They are using the same excuse they used for the first of this year to get their hikeagain. Is it not time that we said no to these money grabbers and let the CEO and other high paid officials working survive on what they take from us now. They said there would not be another hike for two years. In my opinion, lets reduce the rate by 5% and freeze it there. We can't survive the spinoff this rate hike will cause in cost of needed groceries, gas andeverything else. Wake up people and have your input heard. The old saying is the grease wheel gets the work done. If we don't say anything than NSP is the grease wheel that will be heard and win. Thank you for letting me have my say.

You know it is truly sad when you look out your window and you see an elderly lady with a walker going by your house for a doctor’s appointment that is 2 km. up the road walking on icy sidewalks. and all this because the great city of Halifax will not bend to the needs of the Halifax Bus drivers. So many times a day we are reminded by this when we see people walking to and from work, young and old alike, People missing work, dropping out of university, and for what? We live in a great city and we have a problem, let’s fix this problem and make both sides go into a room and not come out until it is settled! I am sick of this strike and want to see the buses back on the roads, The support of the people of Halifax is almost gone, we have gone from hating the bus drivers, the mayor, and council of Halifax to disappointment! Let us not forget that we are all voters and I think 90,000 people use public transit a day in Halifax, that is a lot of votes Mr. Peter Kelly and we the people of Halifax, “Never forget”

Regarding the item on 'recalls'. The Media is part of the problem of people not hearing about recalls. How many times has the announcers told the viewers about a recall ONLY to be told to watch at 6:00 or 11:00 to hear the details of the recall? There are viewers that cannot hang around to hear the information tht m ay save a family member. Please look into this problem.

Can you explain that in 2008 when gas peeked around $1.47/l the price of groceries went up 40% because of price "oil prices".When oil prices dropped to 79cents groceries prices stayed the same.NOW oil is high agian they are sing the same old tune .Totally confused!
