Police investigate shots fired in Dartmouth print this article
Halifax News Net

Shots Fired:  At 3:22 p.m. yesterday, Halifax police officers responded to a report of gunshots heard on Windmill Road near the intersection with Victoria Road in Burnside. At this point, responding officers have determined there were multiple shots fired, from a vehicle traveling outbound on Windmill, directed at a second vehicle also outbound. The investigation remains in its early stages. At this point the description is that both involved vehicles were black, and continued out Windmill Road after the shots were fired. It is unknown if anyone was injured.

Shortly after 5pm investigators located one of the vehicles involved in this incident on a side street off of the Bedford Highway. The vehicle was parked and unoccupied. The vehicle has been seized and will be examined by the Forensic Identification Section.
This vehicle was a black Kia Sedan.

Anyone with information should contact Halifax Regional Police at 490-5016.
